About
Welcome to Kelly's Burgers and Beer, a delightful fusion of two beloved establishments—Kelly's and Crickets—now united at 650 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL. This vibrant venue has quickly become a local favorite, renowned for its hearty offerings and inviting atmosphere. With a menu that barely manages to contain the flavorful creations of both kitchens, Kelly's is where sports bar ambiance meets comforting cuisine.
From the moment you step inside, you’re enveloped in an environment filled with camaraderie and excitement, featuring ample outdoor seating for those sunny Florida days and a full bar to quench your thirst. Whether you’re looking to indulge in a delicious burger, share some wings, or enjoy a game of pool while relishing your meal, Kelly's has got you covered.
One of the standout features of Kelly's is its commitment to quality. The Famous Kelly Burgers are hand-formed and juicy, with options like the Jr. Burger—though don’t let the name fool you; at 6 oz, it’s anything but small. Perfectly seasoned, these burgers speak to the heart of comfort food, and they don’t need any condiments to mask their flavor. You can also savor specials such as the mouthwatering meatloaf served with homemade gravy and fresh sides, which has received rave reviews for its home-cooked feel.
Not just a burger joint, Kelly's is a place where memories are made over hearty meals, laughter, and perhaps a few games of pool. Feedback from satisfied customers highlights not just the food but the sense of community fostered within its walls. As one patron beautifully captured, it's a comforting experience that sits beautifully at the intersection of bar elegance and hearty satisfaction.
So whether you’re a local looking for a new spot to unwind or a visitor seeking a taste of Melbourne’s culinary charm, Kelly's Burgers and Beer promises to deliver a delightful experience filled with great food and a warm atmosphere. Don't forget to say hi to Sandy, one of the star servers, who has charmed many with her exceptional service!

“ Kelly's Crickets Spirits Sports & Food 650 N. Wickham Rd., Melbourne, FL 32935 4 Stars "I love it when a plan comes together." - Col. John "Hannibal" Smith. Kelly's and Crickets merged into one location, bringing both menus into one bar menu. Is it bar food? Is it comfort food? I say it is comfort in a bar. The ambiance is a sports bar all the way. Sandy is the bartender/server today, and she is absolutely outstanding in her job performance. Sadly, she informed me they pool the tips, as her professionalism garnered her a 58% tip. I asked Sandy for one of their daily specials (Tuesdays is Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans), six wings and one of their Jr. Burgers (medium rare). Sandy placed the order as we continued our anfractuous conversation about everything under the sun. Go, Sports Ball Team! Before too long, our order was up and after snapping a few pictures for y'all, I got to work. Look at that scrumptious lookin' grub! Look at it! First up on my palate was the Tuesday Special. I love me a good meatloaf plate with all the fixins and this one had it in spades. The meatloaf was firm, savory and perfectly done. The gravy was obviously made in the back and not from a packet or can, as the flavoring was superb, complex and akin to the nectar of the Greek Gods. I almost asked for a bucket to go; it was so good. The green beans were great. This was perfection on a plate. Putting down my fork and turning my attention to the wings was difficult, but I was here for a job, not to relish every bite of a delectable meatloaf. I ordered the six wings with a medium spiciness and they were just that--spot on, to be exact. They were cooked correctly and seasoned with enough kick to say a hearty hello to my palate but not enough to make me break out in a sweat. Well done, Line Cook! Alas, I begrudgingly looked toward the last item for review today, the Jr. Burger. As you can clearly see in the picture, there is nothing "Junior" about this model of ground charred Bovine flesh. I was actually shocked at the size and had to do a double-take on the menu. After closer inspection, I discovered that their regular "Famous Kelly Burgers" are 8 oz hand-formed patties, and the Junior was a mere 6 oz. A word of advice, if I may be so bold. Do NOT use condiments on this burger. It is seasoned during formation and cooking and is delicious as is. The Big Boy says, " Play some pool, shoot the breeze with Sandy and eat lots of tasty burgers, wings, and things (I wager their homemade soup and chili is to die for)." ”
“ Quick lunch with a coworker! Delicious food, prompt service, relaxed atmosphere. Great lunch spot! ”
“ We went there for St. Patrick's day trying to avoid the larger crowd that some bars seem to gather on the holidays. It was much bigger venue than I expected and there was a nice size amount of people there, but plenty of room for more. Service was good and our waitress was pleasant. My wife and I both went with the Reuben sandwiches. She had fries with hers. I had macaroni salad.. The sandwiches were very good with plenty of meat and all the fixings. Fries were really good and I liked the macaroni salad. We will go back ”
“ Kellys has merged with Crickets and now open till 2 am. Adults after 8 and menu is the best of the two restaurants. Great place and locals favorite ”
“ Went there with family on a Wednesday night. Because of the band that was playing, service was slow. When food arrived, it was fresh and good. One guest's meal was missing. It finally arrived after we had all finished eating, which isn't acceptable. Entertainment was good. ”
“ Kelly's Burgers and Beer is a decent size bar, but this establishment is also known for their burgers. Kelly's Burgers and Beer is located on Wickham Road in Melbourne, Florida. In terms of an intersection landmark, it is not far from the Sarno Road and Wickham Road intersection (just a few lights down). I got takeout from here, but my little bit of interaction was friendly. This particular establishment is known for their burgers (as the business name would imply), so I decided to go with one of their burgers. Actually, I went with their patty melt, which is kind of a burger in the grand scheme of things. One thing that made this patty melt is different is that they added mushrooms to the usual, burger, onions, and Swiss cheese on rye bread. I also got tater tots for my side. My tater tots could have used more salt (or maybe any salt for that matter). The patty melt was pretty good and was large (it was a half pound burger). I asked for it to be cooked medium and they did book it to the desired doneness. I have had better, but it was a good burger nonetheless. All in all, Kelly's Burgers and Beer was an overall positive experience. ”
